What is a mental illness?

A mental illness is classified as a condition that disrupts a persons thinking, behaving, mood, ability to relate to others, and daily functioning.

Such mental illnesses include, major depression, Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Alcohol & Drug addiction.

If you or a loved one experiences a change in mood/behavior that is troublesome, negatively affects their day-to-day routine or last longer than two weeks should be evaluated by a Physician.

Our Behavioral Health Home Care Program

Our team of Specialized Clinicians led by our Skilled Behavioral Health Nurses Provide the following services to you and your loved one in their home:

  1.   Behavioral Health Nursing Assessments/Evaluations & Psychological Testing

  2.   Psycho-Education- learning about your illness

  3.   Psychotherapy- treatment of your illness

  4.   Management/Administration of Psychotropic Medications

  5.   Prompt Crisis Intervention

  6.   Coordination of Resources

  7.   Supportive Care

  8.   Communication with your Doctor
